The band "Kamyaniy gist" began recording their new album. Accumulation takes place at one of the best studios of Kyiv "Kaska Records", which has all the necessary professional equipment for quality recording.

The album will consist of eleven diverse, complementary songs, like tiles, to create a coherent picture. The task that the musicians have put before ourselves, – to make an album as possible "live" with a minimal number of treatments, trying to get the sound you want directly in the recording process.

Over the last few years  in the life of a rock band there have been many positive changes that affected the mood of songs, the novelty of the sound and richness of arrangements.  according to the band, it will be quite Mature, sensitive and honest record.

The album may be interesting not only to fans of rock music, but also to those interested in folk-rock. In songs you can hear a lot of ethnic instruments, including didgeridoo, Jew's harp, tambourines, maracas, rainstick, shakers, bongos and other somase-clanking instruments. To finalize the disc, the musicians plan in July 2011.

Demos of nine songs already available for streaming on the official website of the group "Kamyaniy gist": http://www.kg.org.ua . The material accumulated and consolidated with the support of Taras Belgica, in the Studio www.muzbaza.org.ua that is a favorite venue for rehearsals of the group.

April 11 tracks from the forthcoming album can be heard live in Kyiv club "Route 66" where we will celebrate the birthday of the group "Kamyaniy gist". This evening a congratulatory program will perform a wonderful vocalist Maria Nikulina. Beginning at 20:00.
