Historical and cultural festival "Pogorynski mistsia. Goshcha"

September 21, 2019 with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Fund, the historical and cultural festival "Pogorynski mistsia. Goshcha", which will transport you to the times of Kyivan Rus. Specialists of military and historical reconstruction from all over Ukraine will gather at Goshchi, who will create the appropriate atmosphere of the festival.

Being a guest of the festival is ..

  • try blacksmithing, pottery, carving, weaving, shoemaking and other crafts of those times (especially interesting for children);
  • take a ride on the Varangian boat Drakkar Gungnir. Historical reconstruction of an ancient boat;
  • take a closer look at the life and belongings of the inhabitants of the settlements;
  • taste dishes according to ancient Russian recipes;
  • take a photo in the image of a warrior with a sword and shield (there will also be a photo zone for women and children);
  • take part in theatrical tours, gift draws, historical games and entertainment;
  • shoot a bow, throw a spear and practice swords;
  •   listen to lyre player Andrii Lyashuk (Rivne) and dance to the band "Kamianiy hist" (Kyiv);

Entrance is free.
The festival of living history will take place at the Goshchan settlement on the banks of the Horyn river (Goshcha village, Rivne region) . Family format, without alcohol, with entertainment for children. There will be access to drinking spring water, toilets, shade.

A tent town will be created near the festival for those who want to relax in nature and chat by the fire.
