Prominent Ukrainian Journalist Andrii Kulykov to Moderate the Presentation of Light Through the Ruins

We have some exciting news! Our evening of documentary photography and live music will be moderated by journalist Andrii Kulykov.

Our band has shared a long friendship and several creative collaborations with Andrii. He has supported Kamianyi Hist on many occasions and even took part in recording the song "Bo Kokhaiu", the Ukrainian version of Slade's "Coz I Love U", featured on our album "70/80: Rock Classics in Ukrainian Style." Andrii translated the lyrics and contributed the spoken exclamations, footsteps, and sound effects heard throughout the recording.

On August 1, he will moderate the presentation of Yurii Veres' documentary photobook Light Through the Ruins, leading a conversation about the stories behind the photographs, memory, the people portrayed, documentary photography, and the creation of the book.

The discussion will be followed by an acoustic performance by Kamianyi Hist. Our songs will continue the story through the language of music, echoing the themes explored in the book.

We warmly invite everyone who appreciates documentary photography, books, live music, and meaningful conversations.
